So my previous journey of Girnar was awesome and successful, I have completed editing all my videos of the trip & now looking for the next destination for my bike trip. Finally, I found the best place which you can call it as World’s tallest statue as well. Yes, It is the Statue of Unity.
I love bike riding & I am planning my next long ride trip to Statue of Unity from Surat on Bike. Maybe tomorrow or a day after tomorrow will be my schedule, I will be leaving with my bike and my close friend who help me in taking good photos & videos for my blog & my YouTube Channel.
My other friend, Mr. Nitin Maheta is joining me there who is coming from Rajkot, so we are 3 peoples going to explore the statue of unity and nearby places if possible. I have been looking forward to how to reach the Statue of Unity on the internet, I found the best 3 possible ways to reach there.
What is the Statue of Unity
Statue of Unity is made up of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel which is around 40% taller than China’s Spring Temple Buddha and almost twice in the size of Statue of Liberty in the United Status. The height of the Statue of Unity is 182meters(597 feet) above the ground level which you can call it as World’s tallest statue.
An interesting point is it’s viewing the gallery at the height of 193 meters from where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the Sardar Sarovar Dam, it’s a reservoir, Vindhya mountain ranges, etc & it has a capacity to accommodate approx 200 visitors at a time.
Peoples are coming from all over the states of the country & the visitors are increasing day by day. According to the Indiatimes news, it has generated revenue of Rs 82.51 crore after it’s an inauguration & approx 29.28 lakhs of visitors From November 2018 to 15th November 2019. So I am planning my next destination to visit on a bike ride should be the Statue of Unity only.
How to reach the Statue of Unity
- From Surat to the Statue of Unity
- From Ahmedabad to the Statue of Unity
- From Vadodara to the Statue of Unity
My friend is coming from Rajkot but there is no possible way to reach the Statue of Unity from Rajkot directly. I will be asking my friend the best way to reach the Statue of Unity and posting it on my blog, so it will be helping more users from Rajkot as well.
What will be the Plan?
Since I am going from Surat to the Statue of Unity, I am planning to leave from my home in the early morning.
My route will be Surat Home > Kamrej > Ankleshwar > RajPipla > Kevadiya > To the Statue of Unity. Well, this is a plan, but it might be changed according to the situation. It will be nearly 155 Kilometers to 165 kilometers approx, so it will be taking around 4 hours for me to reach there.
I will be exploring the Statue of Unity there in the morning & then after exploring nearby places of the Statue of Unity. We will be staying there for 1 or 2 days, so you will also see my vlog or blog post on the hotel or food at the Statue of Unity.
My Bucketlist Places to Visit Near Statue of Unity:
- Sardar Sarovar Dam
