Today morning, I paid $200 to one of my blogger friend for some freelancing task, but he has misspelled his PayPal email address while sending it to me. So the entire amount, I sent to the recipient, got debited from my account. When I send him a screenshot of Payment, he simply said that he misspelled the email address and I need to send him another $200.
Immediately, I thought taking help of PayPal support team as I have a PayPal business account they helped me almost instantly. Here is what steps I followed to get my money back which I sent using PayPal to the wrong email address(misspelled email address).

In my case, PayPal payment was showing as a pending status as there was nobody with that email address. This was the reason for the sent PayPal payment shown as an unclaimed status. When I asked them about my issues, the support team immediately helped me and reversed the sent payment.
PayPal team immediately reversed the Payment, however, they said the money will be credited back to my account within 7 working days. I will need to wait for the payment to hit my bank account but it helped a lot that they reversed the money which I sent to the wrong PayPal email address.
