I was fed up with the forced advertisements shown by my Internet Service Provider. I am using You Broadband internet connection but they are showing me floating banner ads at the bottom of each page I am opening on any browsers. I wanted to Block Forced Advertisements, but I was unable to do it. I have taken screenshots and sent it to the main office of my ISP, however, my complaint resolved now but they harassed me for 2 days with the same issue. They took around 2 days to respond my query and this way they have earned lots of banner impression from my side & I couldn’t do anything.
You can do Ad filtering methods to eliminate unwanted ads from any web pages. Ad filtering can be done by Browser integration, External programs, Editing Hosts file and DNS manipulation, DNS cache, DNS filtering, Hardware Devices, or by external parties and internet providers.
I thought there are lots of peoples using the same ISP and facing the same problem with their ISP, So I found the alternative way to block such forced advertisements from your ISP. All you need to do is just install the simple browser add-ons on your browsers. What the browser add-on will do is, it blocks all annoying advertisements shown by any website or shown by your ISP right from your browser & let you to browser add free website from your computer.
Thus Adblock Plus lets you regain control of the internet and browse websites the way you want to. The add-on has dozens of filters from all known malware domains thus it also prevents your computers from incoming malware scripts and viruses. You can also customize the ads type in filter option for images, a block tab for Flash and Java objects, and a list of blockable items to remove scripts and stylesheets. The ABP also blocks Google adsense ads shown from the websites and might slow down the performance of browsing speed.
If you are using Internet Explorer as your default browser, you can get this same Ad Blocker for Internet Explorer to do the same task. You can download Adblock Plus Internet Explorer @ Internet Explorer
Ad Blocker for all browsers is the best way to Block Advertisements Free. This sounds interesting, you can also use AdBlock plus on your Safari browser. Download Adblock Plus for Safari
Mozilla Firefox is my favorite browser and I use it for surfing purpose. Adblock plus is also available for Firefox too. Download Adblock Plus for Mozilla Firefox
I would recommend not to use Adblocker tool for all websites, but if you are using any websites or blog that regularly shows you ads between the content or ads is creating a problem in your viewing experience, you can use an ad blocker for that specified website. The reason is that ads showed up on blogs and this is the only way for some blogger to make money online. If you block ads & still using their content, it means that they will earn nothing from you.
Content creators & bloggers are spending too much time creating content to help peoples out there. So I won’t recommend any ad blocker tool until & unless, you see too many ads or it creates a problem in your viewing experience of some specified website.
