The SBI Online has the new facility called “Quick Transfer” which allows you to send money below 10,000 without adding the Beneficiary. Without adding the beneficiary in SBI Online, you cannot send fund up to 10,000. So follow our below mentioned few simple and easy steps to add a payee to your SBI Online account.

How to add Beneficiary in SBI Online Account

Step 1: First of all, you have to visit the http://OnlineSbi.com portal using your computer’s web browser

Step 2: After that, log in to your SBI Online account using your Username or Password

Step 3: After login, you have to click on “Payments / Transfers” tab

Step 4: In “Payments / Transfers” tab, you have to click on “Manage Beneficiary” link, which you can find under the “Funds Transfer” section

Step 5: After that, you need to enter your “SBI Profile Password,” then click on submit button.

Step 6: In the Next screen, you can see different types of beneficiary that you can add according to your needs.

Step 7: Here are the main three beneficiaries to be added:

  • Intra-bank Beneficiary, which you can use to send money from your SBI to SBI account
  • Inter-bank Beneficiary, which you can use to send money from your SBI To Another bank account
  • IMPS Beneficiary, which you can use for IMPS fund transfer

As an Intra-bank Beneficiary

If you want to send money from your SBI to other SBI bank account, then you have to choose the “Intra-bank beneficiary.” This Intra-bank Mode works on NEFT transfer mode so that payee can receive the amount within the 4 hours. To send money as an Intra-Bank beneficiary, follow our below mentioned steps:

Step 1: After clicking on the “Intra-bank Beneficiary” option, you will be redirected to the next screen

Step 2: Here, you have to add “Beneficiary Name,” “Beneficiary Account number,” Amount, Mobile number, etc.

Step 3: After that, you have to click on “Submit” button for further process.

Step 4: Now, you need to approve the beneficiary. To approve the beneficiary, you can click on “Approve Now” button.

Step 5: After that, you have to choose to approve method. Here you can choose any one from “Approve Thorough OTP” or “Approve through ATM” options.

Step 6: After selecting the OTP option, you will receive the OTP message on your registered mobile number (After that, you have to enter the OTP in the next screen)

Step 7: After typing the OTP in the “High-Security Password” field, you have to click on the “Approve” button

Add an Inter-bank Beneficiary

In the Inter-bank Beneficiary option, you can choose this Inter-bank Beneficiary option to send fund from your SBI account to another bank account in any place of India. You can use this option to transfer fund from your SBI account to other banks like PNB, ICICI, HDFC, Federal, etc.

This Inter-bank Mode works on NEFT transfer mode so that payee can receive the amount within the 4 hours. To send money as an Inter-Bank beneficiary, follow our below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: After clicking on the “Inter-bank Beneficiary” option, you will be redirected to the next screen

Step 2: Here, you have to add “Beneficiary Name,” “Beneficiary Account number,” Address, Amount, IFSC Number, Mobile number, etc.

Step 3: After that, you have to click on “Submit” button for further process.

Step 4: Now, you need to approve the beneficiary. To approve the beneficiary, you can click on “Approve Now” button.

Step 5: After that, you can choose anyone from “Approve Thorough OTP” or “Approve through ATM” options.

Step 6: After selecting the OTP option, you will receive the OTP message on your registered mobile number (After that, you have to enter the OTP in the next screen)

As an IMPS Beneficiary

In the IMPS Beneficiary option, you can send money from your SBI Account to Beneficiary account within seconds. If you choose the IMPS beneficiary option, your transferred amount will be credited to the beneficiary account within the few seconds.

The maximum transfer limit of the IMPS beneficiary mode is Rs. 200000 per day. To send money as an IMPS beneficiary, follow our below-mentioned steps:
