How To Fix The Feed Does Not Have Subscriptions By Email Enabled

We were already talked about how to change feedburner address without loosing subscribers.But while setting up feedburner feeds for our account, due to incorrect setup of feedburner feed box, many bloggers are getting errors about “The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled”. Here is the tutorial how you can fix this error from your subscribe box.

The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled

If you are creating widget or subscribe box for your blog, and you have code for feedburner subscribe box, you might have setup the feedburner code incorrectly. You should look for the following line below and try to fix the same.

http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=xyz

Here xyx is your feedburner feed name, you should make sure that that xyz has been replaced with your feedburner feed name or not. You can check it is correct or not by replacing “http://feeds.feedburner.com/xyz” xyz with your feedname.

The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled

Make sure that you have activated feedburner subscription from feedburner account. If you have not enabled subscription from there, you can get it enabled from your feedburner account.

1. Login to your feedburner account.

2. Go to Publicize > Email Subscription.

3. At bottom, you will see activate button, if you have not activated, activate it.
