Fix DNS Server isn’t responding Error by Restarting DNS Client
Step 1 : First of all, Open Run program on your computer, you can also press the Window + R key to open Run program directly.
Step 2 : Now you have type Services.msc in the run program, then press the enter key to open services.
Step 3 : Scroll down to the DNS Client then right click on it to open popup option
Step4 : In the pop-up option, you have to click on Restart option to restart DNS client
Step 5: After restarting DNS Client, Restart your computer or device, then try to connect to the internet.
We have tested this method in Windows 7 and Windows XP. However if you are using any other version of Windows, you should try this.
Restarting WiFi to solve DNS Error
Sometimes there is a problem with WiFi router and this was causing DNS error while connecting to the internet. Check below steps to fix DNS error simply by restarting your WiFi router.
Step 1 : Remove the power wire from the Wifi router
Step 2 : Wait 15 seconds , then again connect the power wire to the wifi router. Now try to connect to the internet.
If there is a problem with your router connectivity, it will get resolved as soon as router gets connected to the internet.
Fix DNS server not responding Error using Command
With this command, you can solve this problem easily, Follow these steps :
- Click Start button then type CMD in the Search Program.
- You can also use Run to open directly by Pressing Window + R key combination to open Run program, Type CMD and press the enter
- Do Right click then select the Run as administrator option
- In the CMD, Type the following command then hit enter after each command
- Command : “ipconfig /flushdns” then press enter
- Command : “ipconfig /registerdns” then press enter
- Command : “ipconfig /release” then press enter
- Command : “ipconfig /renew” then press enter
- After completing this all command Type “Exit” to close CMD.
